Nomad in Tight Corners

I thought this might be Dan Lund, but since there were no jumps in the middle of the cornering I decided it probably wasn't.

I need to get my corner to this level. ;)

Wrong Bassaddict, it is Dan, he posted that a few weeks ago. I wish I could ride like that.

Well I'll be . . . it's really hard to tell for sure without the obligatory jump or two in the middle. Way to go Dan - nice corners!!

Beautiful riding. Head looking in the direction of turn. Wow, wish I was that good at cornering.

Nice riding Dan. Reminds me of the Goldwing skills rider show at Americade. Bet those wing riders don't do jumps like you though

Dan,
So, just how much narrower are your floorboards now? Practicing all those corners must have removed a goodly amount of metal!

Narrower and higher!

That's really much better than I can hope to do!

Not much this pic shows all that has been taken off by the asphalt over many sessions of practice and many corners in the mountains.

On the 1500's there were some acorn nuts that wore, not the boards themselves. After wearing out the acorns I got some hardened steal replacements and went through about 10 sets.

If my boards start getting past those blocks in the pics, I'll tap out a hole for some more of those hardened screws.

What's the key to keeping the balance with those tight turns? I get nervous turning around in a two lane road. Do you roll on the throttle as you make the turn? What about braking?
Thanks,
Zoom45
