Her first ride
I got to pick up my oldest daughter this past Friday and take her on her first ride on the Nomad. she loved it. In her words "Thats way better than that purple bike". Her mother is not going to like it but nothing she can do about it now the look on her face when we got back was worth every dime.

Yes, the look on her face says it all! Some of my best childhood memories are of riding on the back of my dad's bike. Good times, good times...

That's what it's all about right there. Brings back memories of taking my son out for his first ride? How old is she? Marsh was 11 for his first ride on the back.

Gotta love those memories when the kids enjoy riding.

Nothing better than taking one of your children for a ride. I used to take my son riding when he was like six or seven. He is 32 now and only uses four wheelers but then again he is a game warden now. Guess a motorcycle would be of no use where he has to ride. I still treasure the memories though.

Her first ride
I got my brand new 1999 Nomad when my son was in 5th grade. He said that me picking him up at school on it made him the the most popular kid in class (I was the only father on any make of bike picking his kid up at school).
Wish my dad had a cool bike when I was a kid. |

Her first ride
My 12 year old daughter loves riding with me. My 15 (almost 16) year old son is having problems with it. Not cool. Then again he has problems being seen with me in public anyway. Both kids have been on the back since they could comfortably reach the floorboards.
My daughter thinks she is way cool showing up to school on a bike. |

Looks like you made her day. My 14 year old granddaughter loves to ride and really digs it when I pick her up at church on youth night. One of my favorite childhood memories is my older cousin taking me for rides on his White HD flathead 45. He would let me set in front of him and work the tank shift.

She's got that look about her, that she's made to ride. Be SAFE, get her some good gear and she looks like she will really enjoy it. Best Regards

Took my daughter when she was about 8 or 9 to a rally in Ruidoso, NM and another trip to Austin, Tx. She always loved the bike. My granddaughters now love riding but I have not taken them on such long trips. Those memories will stay with your daughter...

That's a great pic. I look forward to taking my future kids on rides.
Often times people ask, what are you going to do when you have kids and have to sell your bike? I always tell them that I have no plans on quitting bike when kids come into the family and that I think having a young one ride occasionally will make it all that much more enjoyable.
