1700 Trunk on 1600???

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Kawas...Q5fAccessories

Anyone try and figure if these will mount onto our 1600's?

After spending WAY too much time, effort and money on a HD fairing project, I'd be willing to pay for "easy"

I'm sure it won't just bolt right on. You'd have to do some fabricating.

1700 Trunk on 1600???

The Tour Paks are easy to mount with the right stuff. Use a Wompus rack, it bolts right on the bike, and then you can mount any box you want with ease.

1700 Trunk on 1600???

jasperboy, I saw this also. I went down to the dealer and looked at a new 1700 Nomad and the side brackets are different but not so much that I think it could not be done. I also researched part numbers and diagrams to compare the two bikes. The trunk on ebay is nice and would look great on the 1600 but you will most likely need to modify the side brackets. I emailed the guy selling it and he will not lower the price.
