Does Sea Foam really work on a Nomad?

I'm sure a lot of riders have used Sea Foam. Has it made any improvement for the overall running of the engine? Does it reduce ping? Engine noises? Give more pep?

Sea Foam - It's a fuel additive. No, it's a floor wax!

I run Sea Foam every now and then in my fuel to keep things clean. It does a lot of things, but probably isn't going to help pinging.

I put it in my tank If I'm going to store my bike for a while.

Use for a fuel stabalizer and then also for a cleanser of the fuel system. I use it as both. Have it in my 1700 right now on the first tank fill up to run through just to clean any old fuel varnish or gunk from a 5 month winter storage. Your f-injectors will thank you.

What the others said. Fuel stabilizer when storing and a good fuel additive cleaner I use probably twice a year. Great for the carbed bike too.

I've used it for many years with great results. I use it in all our gas motors that sit unused for months at a time: bikes, mowers, and the snowblower over the summer months. I also use it every 2000 miles in the Nomad during the summer. I can tell the difference in fuel mileage after using it.

Mine will start to run just a little...off. I think it is due to poor fuel quality. A little Seafoam, and it'll smooth out after a few miles.

So yes it does help.

It works, unlike a lot of other additives on the market. I use it three or four times a year in the bike and most of my other engines as well.

Oh, sorry...I forgot about it's use as a fuel stabilizer during storage since I don't have to store anything with a gasoline engine.
