Bead Seat

Anyone using a bead set by Bead Rider or any other bead seat manufacturer? Thoughts?

Bead Seat

I have one. took it to Custer last year. It was ok. Wasn't an a$$ saver by any stretch of the imagination.

I got one for a car and trimmed to fit. I like mine fine. Does away with swamp butt. Get the largest you can find so the edges will lap the edges of the seat. Allows more air flow. Definitely put away for the winter.

Bead Seat

I have one from Bead Rider and think it works great! I rode with it to southern California last year and you can bet I will be taking it to Cortez in a couple weeks. It sure keeps your a$$ from sweating like the pig we all know it really is.... ::) ;)!

Bead Seat

I have a Beadrider cover I use on long, hot rides. I switch between the bare seat and the Beadrider every fuel stop.

Pretty much the way I do it too....as BD said...not a butt saver but a nice change for awhile.

Kris....so now you are still going to Cortez?

I made one from one to fit a car. I really like it. Keeps air movement under your butt. Also, as you are moving down the road you can move your butt around and get a massage.

Bead Seat

I've used one off and on for a number of years. Can't say I'd buy another if I lost this one but for an occasional "different" feel, I'll strap 'er on and enjoy the ride.

I have a stock seat with the beadrider beads, without the beads the seat is only good for an hour and a half or so, with I can go 6 hours +

I bought the Bead Rider set last year and we like them. Definitely improves air flow, like others have already said.

Also modified mine by removing a few beads out the middle and whipping the strings back together with a skinny shoe lace. Relieves some of pressure off the ol' tailbone.

Sat on mine through 14 hour ride last year and was happy with it. (yes, a longer ride than I'd planned)
