Thinking aboout getting this to get me back on the road for a good price. I emailed him asking for more info and mileage. What do you guys think?

From what I could tell it looks likes a nice ride Larry. Price seems about right also. Did you check the blue book?

Doesn't sound to bad at all Larry. The only thing that concerns me is the sitting up part. Never liked for an engine to sit for extended periods. What year was your previous Nomad?

I couldn't remember what you had. I knew you had one and sold it. Did you see Bob's post just above mine about the retail price? I haven't done any checking. Bob keeps up with a lot of things. He is probably right. Still $3000 isn't bad even if retail is $3100. You just need a Nomad again. The longer you wait to buy the more expensive they will get. Come spring will not be the time to buy.

I just checked NADA and Bob was correct, $3100. Might add some for the windshield, engine guards and saddlebags.

Make sure to find out if the pog has been replaced with a sog, Kawasaki isn't covering them anymore under warranty.

The 2000 that Tom found on Craigslist isn't bad either. The ad says only 8,000 miles. I would check them both out.

That guy is dreaming if he thinks he will get $5450.00 for that 2000, thats way to high for that bike.

8 years newer might take 7000 to 7500 much better deal than I found
