Saw this in the Reckless fairing gallery on their website. Got to be the nicest paint job I've seen on one. As for the blacked out chrome, either you like it or you dont. I personally cant get enough chrome.

Wow, you're right, that is one sweet looking Nomad! I'm usually not a fan of everything blacked out, but it looks good on that bike!

I wonder if this was done before or after the Vaquero came out....if one gave rise to the other....they look similar in that makeup.

I like everything, but the blacked out chrome pieces and the tribal ugly that separates the red and black

This bike has been around for a little while. I remember see it last winter when I was trying to get ideas.

Well it is different, and the execution of the project appears top notch but IMHO the paint theme is not something that goes well with the Nomad.

I like the paint job, but would also prefer lots of chrome as well.

I like it. The separation between the red and black looks more razor than tribal. There's a lot of detailed black. Different but I like it.

The rear fender sits up a lot higher than the bags. Something looks different but it is a sharp bike.

I think it looks really sharp and is definitely unique. I like the look of chrome better, but that is one sharp looking bike.

I like it, but as my wife says, Chrome is my favorite color!

I have an '05 and my fender is higher than the arch on my bags also. That's one of the first things I noticed when I pulled the 2nd seat and backrest off of mine. I like the look of the solo set up for when I'm by myself, but I wish the fender and bags were more inline with each other.

As far as this thread and bike go... I like it! That's the look I'm going for eventually with mine. I want the fairing and the set up like this. I probably wouldn't use the color scheme, but I'll eventually get to this set up. I like the blacked out look, but my fiance likes the chrome. So, we'll probably stick with chrome. ;)

I like the Vaquero, but I think I can get my Nomad to look pretty much the same way without spending $16K.
