I don't know an exact date, but in the past, the new models have been revealed around September/October. I would assume that to be the case again this year.

I'm hoping they'll extending the frame an inch or two and boost the Hp. Maybe offer a "Batwing" fairing.

I'm thinking they might be going back to the side opening bags on the Nomad & Voyager like they did on the Vaquero. I'm condering going to a full touring machine from my 08 Nomad.

For me, the Nomad is a "full touring machine".

I'm with you on that Bill. Thought it was a full touring bike also. I am well satisfied with my '08.

They may call it a full touring machine, but its missing a lot of features for me to considor it one. It can be made into one though.

Slap on a custom mudflap and away you go.

Seriously, I thought the Nomad was a "great all I wanted in a long distance bike" till they came out with the Voyager.

The Kawasaki dealer show is in October this year. I haven't heard many rumors from Kawasaki so far....possibly a small cruiser replacement for the Vulcan 500 that was discontinued in 2009. We just gotta wait and see...

I do like the cruise control, but as far as I'm concerned the radio was just an added option to help me keep the wife interested in riding. My helmet won't be plumbed with music.

Victory announced their 2012s.
They now have a Cross Country Tour model and I want, but will not be getting anytime soon.

No doubt we all have a model of what we think is a "real touring bike". And, that is OK. I like the Nomad because it speaks in my view to the open road with simplicity. Hay, there is a slogan.

"Nomad - Ride the open road in simplicity"
