handle bar vibration

i have an 06 nomad with 2 inch risers and am experiencing what i think is excessive vibration in the handle bars even when idling. i have stock grips and was wondering if anyone else has this problem. both hands begin to tingle even on a short ride and i was looking at some different grips, even some weighted ones and am looking for some info. any help is appreciated.

I think the handlebars already have weights in the ends. Perhaps some Kury grips will help.

Kury grips with the grip end weights make a big difference.

I have the Kuryakyn Iso grips and bar end weights and found that they work well. I am using the stock risers. There is also a device called a Bar Snake which is pulled through your handlebars and is supposed to reduce vibrations. I have not used it, but I have read on other forums of people who have tried it and liked it. Here is their website: http://www.barsnake.com/

Some fellas have filled the handlebars with shotgun pellets, and they say that helps smooth out the vibrations.

Wouldn't they maybe rattle unless you jamed them in tight and poured say a resin in as you filled the bars?

They don't rattle, you have to fill the bars packed tight with the pellets as you said. Al has done this to his bike.

This will sound screwy, but check the engine mounts for being tight. Nomad bars don't vibrate unless the engine is jumping in the cradle at idle. If the engine is tight, then loook for the source of vibs elsewhere.

Razz

If your bike is vibrating really badly, just deck yourself out head to toe in harley gear and everyone will think you have a harley

Poor folks bashing...... will it never end? Them's some bad vibes man.
I went all day without any bad vibes. Well, not all day. Just to SA and back. Windy to beat hell but smooth sailing none the less.
