Wish Me Luck
I was just going to say that I'm entering my '06 Nomad in the local Show and Shine in town at 100 Mile House tomorrow. It's mostly cars ... a lot from the local car club, but there are some others from the "lower mainland" of Vancouver and areas like Maple Ridge BC.
But they also have a motorcycle section with categories for Japanese, European, and American bikes. and the Joe Muensch Memorial Best Road Cruiser being the top award {I think} So I spent yesterday doing a "bags off" detailing and putting a shine on the Nomad. I'm not really expecting to win anything but it's a chance to meet the locals,..me being a newbie up here, and all. There was a registration gathering at the A&W Drive In, in town and I saw one other Nomad there. he wasn't entering but came to see the cars. So tomorrow morning I'm heading down to a park in town for the Show and Shine and judging. So if you read this and can take a second,..wish me luck. It would be nice to ride away a winner.

Just realized this is not the place for this thread. Hey it was late when I started this.....give me a break....
 so "Admin" will move the post once I've uploaded the pictures or shortly there after. Just in case you were looking for it again. Anyway it was a great day for a show and shine. Not blistering hot just a pleasant 70 + degree day. But the rain came in towards late afternoon, and everything was pretty much over except for the awards presentation. Unfortunately that didn't include me or the Nomad. But there were some nice bikes and a lot of real nice autos. Again unfortunate,.....but not all my photos turned out well enough where I'd post them but I do have a few. Including the winner of "the best road cruiser"...you be the judge.  Oh and BTW, thanks for all the kind words and best wishes to me going into this first time thing for me. It was fun...kind'a.        And the wiener is....... sorry winner is  I have to put the cars on another post....
