I have the $99 knockoff bags from ebay and they're excellent...except for the label you'd never know.

The knockoff bags are fine for using in the hardbags for trips etc. But the Real deal are by far better.

I use mine as carry ons on planes sometimes, I use them on car trips and stuff. They have excellent outside pockets for toiletries etc. and come with good fasteners.

If they were Kawi ones, which they are, I would have jumped on them if nobody else needed them. They are that good. I don't know that I would pay full price again, there weren't any knockoffs in 99 when I bought mine.

But if you can get a real set for $35 plus shipping, you'd be crazy not to take them.

I was just holding back not wanting to jump on them when I already have one set in case others needed them.

Dan I have a set of the knockoffs, but mine were around $160. We'll have to compare them in Mesquite.

Back in 99 when the Kawi ones were the only ones you could get, I paid a bloody ton for them. They were so handy that I didn't complain, till I saw how cheap you could start getting knock offs on eBay after a while.

I'm sure the genuine ones were over $350 a pair when I priced them in 2003. Way too much for me.

I have a set of the knockoffs as well, they are really well made with a good heavy nylon fabric. Quite pleased with their appearance. I hav'nt been able to use them yet but hopefully I will the next few weeks.
