Flags

I just put an American flag on my Nomad and wondered how many on here fly a flag of some sort on their bike.
I know Kris (Netnorski) had 2 on his Nomad but not sure if he has them on his new ride.

I've been wanting to Tim. My bike came with two fasteners on the back where it looks like you can screw a flag staff into; one on each side. I've been trying to figure out where to buy the right flag/staff.

I did (American flag) on my Nomad, but don't have a good place to mount one on the ST1300.

I still have my flags on my new ride Tim....an American and Norwegian flag. It is important to remember flag etiquette if you use more than one. For use on your bike, the American flag should always be on the right side as the bike moves forward (marching right). Also, that way when you put your bike on the stand, the American flag will rise above any other...!

Putting an American Flag on a Japanese motorcycle ? Just seems kind of odd to me. Don't get me wrong, I'm all for displaying the Flag just not sure I'd want one on a Kawasaki.

That is good advice and I appreciate you letting me know in Colorado when I had the flags reversed. I have an Ireland flag on order and it will go on the left flag pole

Displaying an American flag has nothing to do with the manufacture of the bike or car or flagpole you mount it on. It is showing your respect for your country and that you are proud to be from that country.
I have a flag pole in my yard and if it were made n China, do you think I should not fly my American flag from it

I have looked all over the net trying to find an official 6"x9" 911 flag. I can't find one. I can find a few different designs but not the official one.
This link is of the Official 911 flag design but it does not come in 6"x9" which I need as my American flag is that size.

That's right! My Beloved Nomad entered the country legally, got all the documentation and aced all kinds of test. She's truly a naturalized American mode of transportation.
It's a patriotic thing!
Being an American mean we are free to buy anything we want and put anything we want on it.
I'd feel pretty stoopid putting a Japanese flag on it.

I fly an American flag and a Gadsden flag. I removed them a couple weeks ago because the Stars and Stripes was beginning to get too tattered.

I built a custom mount with a piece of stainless angle placed between the passenger back rest and the bracket. I removed the area on the angle to fit the back rest bracket, I got the flags off Ebay. They got any size of anything you want!

Oh, I also have two large flags (one US, one PGR) on a custom mount for PGR escorts.

Depends on how you define "made." They are assembled here and the freedom engine is made here, but part of the manufacturing is done in Mexico, a country renown of course for its manufacturing excellence .
