Can't believe I bought American

Bought 6 new Jap cars. Never a problem.

I bought 2 brand new American cars in my life...had bad experiences both times. Last one bought in 1996.

Maybe the 3rd time will be a charm?

The 395hp/410 lbs torque Hemi just melted my heart and the heated steering wheel warmed my hands. Sounds like a 69 Road Runner...love it.

Still can't believe I bought a Dodge. I guess it was time to come home (thanks to the #1 rating by Consumer Reports)....although the engine was built in Mexico and the silky smooth tranny was built in Germany the total parts content is 66% plus final assembly is American.

On second thought maybe I didn't buy American. Ram is owned by Fiat...dang.

Now...if the good old USA just built a better bike. Uh Oh...stand back...here come my fellow Various Baggers to promote their steeds.

I've owned two dodge products. My experience is that they are great until they get 100K on them. Then trade that sucker before the real trouble starts. The only jap car I had was a Honda Civic. Ran like a top, but had wiring issues later on.

I had an older (98 1500 w/360ci) Ram pick-up and I liked it. Totaled it out in a wreck and the air bags didn't inflate (seat belt worked great though). Decided to get a GMC for a replacement.

Nice looking truck, Greg!

Years ago one of my drivers bought a white Dodge truck with a chrome package. That was one sharp looking truck. The chrome on white really looked great

You know that's how it starts. First it's a Dodge truck, and before you know it it's a Harley or a Vic.

I've owned a couple of Dodge cars, a '91 Shadow and a '98 Avenger. The Shadow went around 200k miles and I sold it to my brother-in-law because we were moving to Phoenix and didn't want to take it. The Avenger was a great car, until my wife totaled it on the freeway. Oh yeah, I had an '81 Ramcharger 4x4 years ago, that was a piece of crap. When it comes to trucks, I am a Ford guy.

Good luck with the new truck though and congratulations.

Nice truck Greg!

The Dodge's pull pretty nicely. My brother-in-law owns nothing but Dodge trucks, and has for years. Over the last several he bought the dual-tire diesel to pull his huge horse trailer through the mountains. Seems to work very well for him.

He did mention you have to watch for rust on them though. They seem to rust fairly easy according to him. Just keep an eye on it...

Love my Hemi. Nice truck. Try some mods. If you like the TQ/HP now, you'll really like what awaits. Good luck.

I've owned my dodge diesel truck for 22 years now. Very reliable, hauls the mail that's for sure!
