Are you sure you don't mean a lithium iron battery.

I think he meant lithium ion. Not sure these are out for our bikes yet. I like the stock OEM battery mine came with. They hold up the best for me.

I'll give you a review. I have no reason to support any brand. I bought the Deltran at a bike show for 200.00. I've had my bike for 13 years. Had 4 batteries. The big reason for buying a 480 cranking amps was I was tired of my bike kicking back when the starter was hit. That causes the clock to zero and looses the odometer to reset. These 2 thinks have never happened with this Deltran Lithium battery. When I hit the starter it doesn't hesitate.

Bought the Battery Tender lithium battery from Amazon. Been working pretty darn well. Couldn't believe the size difference between it and stock.

I put the Shorei Lithium Battery in my 2002 FI 1500 2 years ago. I also went for the Shorei battery charger also ($80) I charge it whenever I remember to, and that aint too often. The beast starts with not problem all of the time. BTW the charger has a VERY short cord. I just did not want to damage the battery since I was not sure if my older Battery Tender Jr was compliant.

Thanks Jim!

I much prefer reviews from a fellow rider than some unknowns on a website.

Next time I need a battery I will have to consider the Deltran.
