I need a 1500 driveshaft

Well, yesterdays ride to work turned out to be a little more than I bargained for. I took off from an intersection and all of a sudden there was a bad crunching sound and the bike started lurching and bucking as it came to a sudden stop. Fortunately I made it across the intersection before it stopped dead. I had to get CAA to come and pick the bike up and haul it home for me.
They have a really neat device that mounts in the back of a pickup truck, it has a platform that comes right down on the ground, and then the bike is strapped down in a wheel chock. The platform is then raised and the whole things goes in the bed of the pickup.
I got the back of the bike apart and it seems that the U joint let go destroying the drive shaft. Had I caught it sooner it would have been just a U joint replacement. I guess it could have been worse, I had visions of everything being destroyed in there.

If anyone has a complete drive shaft for a 1500 available I could sure use one. Let me know what you have, and how much you would like for it. I was planning on giving the bike a good going over in the spring, but it seems I can now get going on it a lot sooner.

Ron bought a 99 for parts do not know when he will be able to get it to you or if he plans on keeping the drive shaft

Isn't there a cheaper fix by buying a driveshaft for a Kawasaki 400 mule ?

My mistake. Hope you find one.

No, John, the Mules share the same U joint, not the drive shaft.
