Battery question

If I leave my Ipod plugged in does it draw off the battery? I have the connector that allows me to control everything not just hear it play. I know the 12 volt auxiliary only is hot when the ignition is on from the factory. I leave plugged into a battery tender 90% of the time but just curious if it will drain the thing if I dont

I never had a problem leaving my Ipod plugged in all the time on my Voyager even after not riding the bike for weeks with no battery tender.

No problem here also. It does not have any power when the key is turned off so I think it is not able to drain the battery. If it was charging when the key is off the screen would show the charging logo.

iPod does not receive any power when key is off. It is a switched circuit so that you can leave it in and not drain the battery. Now the iPod does remain on so if left for a long time it will drain the iPods battery. But it will charge once the bike is running. I use one that has a weak battery any way so doesn't bother me.
