clutch slave bleeder location

so went looking for the clutch bleeder on my 2002 nomad, surfed the forums and consulted my factory service manual.....factory manual indicates it is on or at the slave cylinder, however the motorcycle disagrees. -----looks like two lines on the banjo bolt and both disappear behind the left side air filter cover......with only one on the clutch master cylinder.

i would assume the bleeder is remote mounted (hate to assume). anyone else hunt this down before? pull the tank or?

looking for it just to do a maintenance bleeding of the system after i replace the clutch plates and spring. 75000 miles on bike, original clutch plates and spring. getting weak after riding around western North Carolina. only changed out fluid in reservoir previously.

First you must remove the left floor board and the heel/toe shifters . Then remove the chrome cover . You will find it towards the front of the bike .

Like Barry said, once you get the left side engine cover off, you will see it.

Does not hurt to mark the location of the toe and heel shifter with a marker pen before you take them off. Now I know why. And DO NOT over torque the engine cover bolts when you put them back in. I think I read somewhere here where someone used ft lbs instead of inch lbs. Ouch.

There should only be one. No idea why you have 2.

Post a pic of the lines at the master cylinder and where they connect at the slave.

The clutch line should come from the master cylinder on the left handlebar, track down the bar to near the triple tree, then track down the neck to the left side of the frame, then down the left side of the frame to the bottom of the motor and enter the side cover on the front.
The only things that have 2 lines on mine is the front brake lines (braided SS), and the throttle cables, both are on the right side of the bars.

i will post pics later in the week of the lines at the slave cylinder and by the parts and service manuals both show only one line.
...just got done putting new fiber plates and spring in the clutch.....learned that the Kawasaki 108 ft lbs of torque is a little different then anyone else's. .....3/8 cordless impact would not touch the clutch cage nut, my small compressor at home would not put out enough for my 1/2 air impact to loosen it (works on car lug nuts) and a co workers 1/2 cordless impact had to work at the nut for about 10 mins before turning it......

And yet my Harbor Freight electric impact has spun them off every time.
