1700 Nomad riders?
It seems like most of the members here are Voyager or Vaquero riders. I'm a 1700 Nomad rider and I'm curious to know how many of us are out there? Do you have one? Are you satisfied with it and do you feel the need to upgrade?

I have a 2011 I got as a leftover in 2012. Added a Kaw trunk kit, driver's back rest, 14" mini apes, exhaust & Ivanized. She's about finished.....maybe...I think....or maybe add a lowering kit. I seem to be getting shorter with old age. Anyways, love it & plan to ride this one till I can no longer ride.

I have a 2001 Vulcan Nomad, with a 05' 1600 engine/trans, that I have put a Thunder bigbore kit in, which brings it out the size of the 1700s....+ gotta bunch more go fast goodies....satisfied for now. Now........my 1500 engine is the Real MONSTER.... I ride the Nomads till I can't get any more parts.

I ride a 2012 Nomad and love it AFTER Ivan's flash! Before I was disappointed with the power.

Riding an 01 grey/silver which is my baby. Can't seem to keep it parked. Also have an 09 black. It is stock excepting v/h exhaust. Love the six speed, belt drive and more power but something's missing. Looking at maybe a voyager this spring but keeping the 01 for fun around town and selling the 09.

Just Got mine
Just got a 2012 Nomad (still have my 2014 900 Classic as well). The one I bought has the Corbra EFI installed, with V&H pipes. It has some serious legs and I am looking forward to this seasons rides.

i have the 2010 nomad -- ivans upgrade plus other improvements -- no complaints and the bags are very useful -- due to MY age and condition i dont feel like riding much now and will probably sell it later --- however it has been a great bike for me with no issues

Had a 2011 Nomad and wrote it off. Liked it so much I went searching for another to replace it. Found a 2010 with 60,000 less kms on it than the other one and ended up pocketing a couple thousand dollars from the insurance. Stripped a few things off the old one before it got carted away. Just a really comfortable bike for me. No plans on changing here
