Long time no see

Greetings, You can tell from my membership number that I found this site just after it started and I made a lot of great friends on here. Met many at a few rallies over the years. I finally got the Nomad out of my system and sold it this summer, it had 87,000 miles on the fun meter.

Now, I have a few things left over for sale. I've posted a couple of them in the classifieds. Leather jacket, Nomad backrest with the chrome frame pieces, chrome luggage rack, I also have a maintenance manual for the 1600s and a few misc parts.

I had a great time while I was on here. Time to move on.
Bud

Somebody had to lead the way. Says a lot that you are still here.

I don't know about leading the way but I am still here because I am old school and stubborn as hell
Speaking of old school.

I assume that F-150 has an onboard GPS system so you don't have to rely on your paper maps.

It works through my phone. Never used a gps device before and it proved to be rather interesting at times. Like when I drove into the Twilight Zone while trying to find Maggie Valley. I swear I heard banjos.

That is what I was thinking of when I posted about the maps.

Well in this case a 5 is more impressive than a 9.

schoeney told you to go to bed obviously he doesn't know you have no time for that with all the traveling you and Marie are doing since you retired.

I miss you guys. TC, I don't think I've laughed as hard as we did since Maggie Valley.

Yeah I think of that often Bud. You and I were the only ones that stayed up late that night, well late for me anyway. It was a riot watching you fill your pockets with crackers for the trip home
