Old dog, new tricks, with pics.

Paul here, and as some of you know, I've been hangin' around for a while listening and learning and every now and then puttin in my 2cents. And as some of you know I am electronically challenged. ???

Well! today a break through. Finally came into the 21st century and set up a photobucket account, and started modifying my profile. One pic so far in the avitar. Obviously, it HAD to be the bike. So here is it guys, with more pics to follow.

I want to thank everyone for making my stay here a pleasant one. I love the Nomad, I truly enjoy the forum and all of you out there. The next best thing to riding one of these things is sharing info and stories about them. One day soon I hope to meet some of the people like me who like to work hard, ride often, and spend time w/ family.

One more thing before I go. From henceforth I shall no longer be known as Paul. I shall be "hmsregalnadness". With respect to our friends across the pond, hms is not what you think. In this case it means "his mighty scoot". Regal has to do with purple, the color of royalty, and that is also the name of the mustang seat I use to cushion my "royal highknee" . Nadness, well, we all know the Nomad maddness we get concerning these machines.

Thank you all. It's a hoot. Like I said, more pics to follow soon. Lets ride!

Pics as promised. She's dirty in the large photo, but she's beautiful (uh, the bike). My two favorite girls, and there's no jealousy.

Son of a Bitch
hmsregalnadness, is your bike all purple or just the parts that were not black?
The reason I ask is I am having mine painted this winter . I am going with purple where it is now silver. I thought it would be unique.

Hey TC, it's all purple. Except for the pin striping. To tell you the truth, when I first saw the thing, I thought it was black. But the lady in the shop pointed out that it was really purple. Wasn't completely confident w/ the color at first, but have come to love it. Kind of like riding a master of disguise. One minute it's black, the next, this really deep and beautiful pearl-like purple. Shined up against all the chrome (note the side covers) it stands out in a kind of underhanded way.

The red pin striping is very subtle, but really pops in the bright light. Try it, you'll like it.

Welcome aboard! It'll get even better...

Spring is REAL close - we have a lot of 'nads in the area, just never really got them all together...

Mikesth, thanks. I've run into a lot of Nad riders in just the last 3 weeks. Asked them all if they are aware of the Kawanow site and to a man, they all say no. So, naturally, I direct them.

Yeah, from just the north area alone we could put together quite a ride if most of the guys with Nads were ID'd.

I like what you've done w/ your scoot. Love the single seat, but my Kel likes pillion. I can't get her to go along w/ my plan where she takes over my bike and I go get the new one. She's selfish that way.
