Toy Carrier Trailer

I am considering a Toy Carrier Trailer. Anyone have experience with a Toy Carrier? I have six specific questions:

1. Does the Nomad fit in the single cruiser trailer?
2. Do they bounce down the road?
3. Would you recommend a one or two bike trailer?
4. As to fuel efficiency, is there much of a saving over the traditional two axle trailer?
5. Can you use a Condor in one of these?
6. Would you buy another?

Toy Carrier Trailer

I wasn't quite sure what a Toy carrier was? Here is a link if anyone else is curious. How much $$ are these?

http://www.toycarrier.com/enclosedmotorcycletrailer.htm

I have a 5 X 10 nice Premier utility trailer (not enclosed) that I use to transport my Nomad locally (only have used it once for the Nad...tracked + rode fine...even on the freeway.

I also have a 16ft I-5 Interstate enclosed trailer that I use to haul quads + dirt bikes.

I just made some wheel chocks to haul the bike(s)...they just sit in the trailer...no nailing or screws needed. This way it is easy to transform either trailer to a hauler or camper quickly...like in 5 seconds.

The Toy Carriers look nice but can they function well for other purposes? Like hauling other stuff or use for camping?

I don't have money to burn or a ton of driveway space so I like the multi functionality of my trailers. If I had money to burn and plenty of space the Toy Carrier would be a nice treat...but I haven't trailered my bike other than when I bought it.

Good Luck!

I thought I would never trailer my bike...but since the bad weather hit and I got cabin fever I was dreaming of loading up the Nad in the trailer...head south until I saw and felt the warm sun. Unload it and start riding!

But if the weather is halfway decent I won't be trailering it!

Toy Carrier Trailer

Analog, are you talking about a toy carrier like the one in the link, or a toy hauler? I have a toy hauler which is basicly a camping trailer that drops the entire back to become a ramp. Then you can just drive your bike(s) up into the middle between the beds and tie it down for hauling. Once at your destination, drop the back, unload the bike(s) and live in the trailer. Has shower, toilet, gas, electric, stove, oven, microwave, queen bed, and 2 twins. Table and lots of storage. It's a Thor and I bought it from a Harley riding bud who was moving and couldn't use it.

Mine is a small one at 18 feet but will hold two bikes and has tandem axles. Pulls just like any travel trailer and pull depends on the truck and hitch set up. We could actually take 4 people and two bikes and be fully self contained. Most of the ones I've seen are much bigger. I was very happy to get a smaller one as it is all we need, and of course, the less weight the easier to pull.

Toy Carrier Trailer

I don't know anything about the toy carrier but I would put a Condor chock in or on any trailer.

The single carrier is about $3,500 and the double around $5,500.00. I find it curious no one seems to own one or tried one.
