itsemt;
Have you tried the plan B before?
was wondering how well that worked out for ya!!
I'll be leaving Gainesville, Ga around 9 am friday; after ATL traffic slows a bit.
rode up to Maggie Valley 2 weekends ago, and went through the wheels through time museum, before it closes in November.
Great museum they got there; I hear it's moving to Arizona-Prescott, I think.

I haven't had the chance to try plan "B" as of this writing. Plan "A" the barefaced lie has served so well I've just never moved beyond that step. ;) I'd like to ride down with two buddies and one has bailed and the other is slipping. I've come to accept the fact after 45 years that I'm a "Wuss" magnet! I'm looking for my supervisor to let me off Friday, if that happens it's a sure thing. But I'll let you know Thursday B4 you leave.

Well; The weather was miserable this year; but, we still had a good time. Met some new friends, and rode up to Warner Robbins to the Aviation Museum. That was awesome!
Wind and rain were bad enough to kink 2 poles on my canopy, and several others tent poles, etc.
The ride home pulling my trailer was not much fun, with the strong headwinds, but, we made it,safe and sound! Can't wait till next spring's rally!

I'm going to make plans for the spring rally 57. I always bring good luck and weather. :) It rained up here Friday but Saturday was fabulous and me and some friends roe the Blue Ridge Parkway. Sometime the best rallies, or camp outs, or whatever involve some bad weather.

itsemt; have you camped at the Kickstand Lodge, near Robbinsville, NC ?? great place! originally built just for bikers, but, after Fred's passing, his wife is now letting cars in too.
price is right, and there is always someone cooking at the main store building. We always camp in the back, on the creek; pretty area!

I googled Kickstand Lodge and I like it! Thanks 57. I'm new to NC, because of a job transfer, for a little over three and a half years now. I love it up here and I wish it would have happen many years ago. I'm originally from Juliette, GA. Except for the last three years I haven't been on a bike in twenty years. I still know what a great bike is though!!!! Any other tid bits of information like that you could share with me and the rest of the group is appreciated. (Speaking on their behalf) They might already know, I'm the new one........ Maybe just above "Poser" :-)
