If I had some that I wanted...I would go to the old forum, copy them to a .doc file.. If I just wanted them on the forum, I would open a private message to myself and paste them there then send to myself.

I beleive there is an option to 'backup' your PMs on the old forum.

ADMIN>>> I would like to send a PM to a member that hasn't posted on the new site. I haven't been successful, if there is a way to do this, please advise. Thanks Gerry

Unless the person in question logs in to the new site and activates their account, there's no way to PM them. It's like trying to send mail to someone without an address. Go back on the old site and see if you can find an email address for the person and email him.

Select Private Messages Then use the drop down menu to select Sent Items. They are NOT saved by default If you want to save sent PM's by default. Then from Your Control Panel select Edit Options. In the PM section check the last box, save a copy of sent messages. If this box is not checked, you will have the option, before you hit send to save the PM. If you don't hit save, it's gone.
