Thanks Fellow Nomad Riders & Friends,

I may be 68 Years Old but not retired yet as I am on the Freedom 95 Plan -- finding the Pensions I am drawing just do not support my life style.

Matter of fact I just got back Home after servicing a Client with Computer problems in a brewing Snow Storm. Must say I am impressed that so many of you have responded to my introduction as I just posted it before going to my last Client.

I have a lot of experience and and many Touring Miles running different Motorcycles that I always customize to get them the way I like Em. Presently ride (4) four Motorcycles, check My Signature and see their Pictures in my Album.

To Answer "nomadtom69" question about my "Smart Wheel Chock" just check the following Link to see a Video and Description of them. Seeing as I have (4) four Motorcycles in a Single Car Garage I needed the Nomad to stand up straight as it has no Center Stand like the other (3) three do.

Welcome from Barrie, ON where we are still buried under snow as well

Great choice in a bike especially since you got the fastest one (red and black are the fastest colours!)

Hi Brian, (Fellow Canadian)

Yes we are getting more snow all day and again tonight -- just insured my Nomad full coverage with TD Insurance for 667 for full year. I was insured by Riders Plus Broker who use Echelon Insurance -- they charged we $909 for my ST1300PA but TD Insurance is charging me $686. This is good news.

Yes I like the Burgundy (Red) and Black color and happy it is the fast one as you suggest. How long have you had your Nomad and what is the Kilometers on it?

"Pooker" who lives near me in Limoges (Haven't met him yet) also has the same year and color of Nomad that we have.

Northern Dancer,

Cheers,

Ron

Hi Ron, ++1 for the colour combo and year model, mine is the same. They are even harder to find here in Oz, I had to go up north to Qld. to find it. Mine has just under 30,000 Km and she was very well looked after by her fastiduous previous owner.

Hi Craig,

Yes I checked your Album and yours looks almost exactly like my Nomad. Fine looking Motorcycle. My Nomad is still at Dealer and I have only seen it under indoor lighting and wasn't sure if it was RED or BURGUNDY as Florescent Lighting plays tricks.

But in any case she is a good looking Motorcycle. I have named it "Pretty Theresa" after my Wife as she was getting difficult with my purchasing our 4th Motorcycle now.

I am sure she will be happy with it when we start riding once the snow leaves.

I hear you fellows are getting floods down under -- hope you are OK.

Northern Dancer,

Cheers,

Ron

Hi 2x18wheeler,

I was raised in New Brunswick and still have Family there. We are taking my Nomad to visit my Sister in Miramirhi, and My Mother is Fredericton, New Brunswick May 14, to 19th this Spring. You never know as Bedell is not far from Fredericton and you just might have that 18 Wheeler in the area and we could hookup?

We (Theresa & I) are taking Our Goldwing to Woodstock, Georgia May 5 to 8th to have the Traxxion Suspension upgraded with their New Triple Tree then off to Robbinsville, NC for the Dark Side Ride-In. This is always a fantastic get together with Dark Sider's (those who run Car Tires) from all over USA and Canada. There is no fee for this just a bunch of Riders meeting to enjoy some excellent roads and special Rate of $58 per night at a reserved Motel.

Then when we return to Ottawa we switch Motorcycles to visit my Brother In-Law "Eric" who rides a Harley. He doesn't know I have purchased a Cruiser and I want to surprise him.

Any time you might be in Ottawa, drop by as we have an extra Bedroom if you want to visit.

Northern Dancer,

Ron

Ron - I have had my Nomad since Oct 2009 and love it. A local guy bought it brand new, rode it for one summer and decided it was too heavy so he traded it in the following spring with only 3,016 kms on it.. I had my eye on it all summer and watched the dealer slowly reduce the price. That fall they reduced the price enough that I jumped. Don't recall my mileage and the battery is pulled so I can't check it.

I see from one of your messages you were raised in New Brunswick. It is definitely a small world, I grew up in Sussex, NB. My folks and my sister and her family are still there so I get back once or twice a year.

Cheers
