Vaquero passenger back rest quick release?

I am looking for a quick release passenger back rest for my 2011 vaquero, anyone knows where I can get one? It had to be quick release. My wife doesn't ride with me all the time just once awhile and I don't want to install the permanent one.

Thanks

Yep, standard part - but expensive.

I don't think there even IS a non-quick-release version in the Kawi catalog.

My dealer was showing me a seat last time I was in. I think it was Mustang, but had a driver backrest that slipped into the seat similar to the way the stocker does. What was different was that the same backrest could be moved to a passenger position too. Really cool, and I didn't ask the price.

Looks real good!

Thanks for the picture of it--was wondering what it would look like with this seat on her.

Just something to look at in the picture jestephens posted... notice the chrome part sticking up between the bags and the bike? That is what stays on your bike when the backrest is removed.. exact reason I went with the seat with built in back rest instead of the quick release backrest... Mustang and Corbin both make them...and for about 200 dollars more than the quick release backrest, you get a high quality seat with backrest attached. As well.. you don't have to drill into your fender with the new seat as you have to with the quick release version.

i have the Mustang seat...yes the front and rear backrest is same...but unless your wife is 110lbs or less the Kaw assy is more comfortable..by far..

its the panel between the fender and saddle bag and the panel is actually marked to be drilled from the factory. also on my black vaquero i had the mounts powder coated gloss black for $30 bucks. from 6 feet away cant even see them now.

Upwards of $600 buys the Kaw system and luggage rack. It's been cheaper to tell my wife to hang-on!

I just installed mine a few weekends ago and yes it was damn expensive for the freaking backrest. it was sure nice to take off when the wife is not riding.

Bought mine when I bought the bike early last year, my Lady likes it and feels secure and can rest against back rest on our long cross country rides of many hours each day, when traveling for a week or so.

When she is not with me, pull it off, and the bike looks like a great solo cruzier that it is.

Ordered my Mustang seat with backrests... delivered in 2 days.. looks great... 650 all in and feels great.. considerably less than putting on a quality seat and detachable backrest. and.... I didn't have to drill into my fenders!
