Thumbs Up Got Avon Cobras installed

I got my Avon Cobras installed today on my 05 Nomad & after the 50 mile ride home, all I can say is WOW!
She feels like a brand new bike! The handling, turning, just gr8! The guy who installed them said just wait, she will feel even better after 100 miles! I rode on Metz once the stones were done, from now on, Cobras for me!

One of the best decisions I ever made was to go with the Avon Cobras on my 2006 Nomad. It made a HUGE difference in the ride and handling. You made an excellent choice. Hope you enjoy them as much as I have.

I had 20,000 miles on the front Cobra when I traded in my Nomad. Still had 2 or 3k left on it. The rear wore out in the center at 6,000 miles. It didn't do well pulling the trailer for most of those miles. But, any MC rear tire doesn't hold up very well with a trailer tagging along.

23,000 kms on the rear Cobra and 27,000 kms on the front Cobra when I replaced them. They still had some life left in them.

I put cobras on mine last spring and couldn't believe how different the bike felt and handled. A season later and my opinion about them is still the same, they're great!!!!!!!!

I just put a Dunlop E3 on the front, GYTT on the rear last year. I like how the bike handles now, even the hard leans feel more secure. Slow speed handling is significantly better!
