Vaquero Gel OEM Seat

Does anyone know if the Kawi OEM gel seat has the exact same dimensions as the stocker? I don't want to alter the seat height or width at all. Thx in advance

I have both, and I feel like the gel seat sets me up higher. I have an aftermarket windscreen that's barely tall enough with the stock seat, but with the gel seat I get more wind.
I don't have any measurements to back it up though. ???

Yes, the gel tour seat is maybe a tad taller for the rider, a good bit higher for the passenger. Width seems the same (for the rider) though.

I have one for sale if you are interested. It sat me higher. Looking to get $175.00 plus shipping from NJ.

Since you have both, do you think the OEM gel seat is worth the $? I had a Propad gel pad on my 1600 classic, wasn't impressed & ended up buying a Mustang. Now, I'm kinda gun shy about gel seats. Your opinion on the Kaw?

I have/had both seats, and do NOT feel that the OEM gel is worth the money.

He wants the stock seat to be as firm as the gel but not be any higher than the stock seat. I suggested to have denser foam put in the stock seat anyone else have any ideas.

I had my stock seat cut down so I could sit lower and a little farther back. They kept the same foam but made a cutout to add a gel pad. I like the lower position and the gel keeps it from riding too harsh. Probably not as good as an aftermarket seat, but considerably cheaper if you have someone local to do it.

I have both seats, went with gel when purchased bike, my gel a couple of inches taller and wider. Wife sits higher than my Suzuki boulevards did and loves the seat.
