Question Custom Tail lights for Saddle Bags....

I saw some pictures of a guy online who had secondary brake lights in the back of the saddle bags giving him 3 lights total, Really gave the bike an awesome look, always been intrested to do this, But anyone know if anyone sells any custom lights that are already shaped to fit the shape of the bag, or most likely a complete custom job? Ill post a pic if i can find it again, it was a cool addition to the Nomad fine "ass"ets

It's going to be a custom job, as are most mods on these bikes.

Or you can make your rear signal lights into running lights or brake lights. Either buy buying a electronic control that does this or swithching the bulb sockets to a dual filament type.

These mini tombstone lights I got from J& Cycles.
Wired them for run and brake lights.

Yes I used trailer disconnect plugs so the bags could be removed.
Here is a link to the lights. If you search you can find them cheaper.
I just bought a set for my new to me 08 Nomad but forgot where I found them.
I got them some place for $35 each I think

I have the same lights as Tim. I put a 3-pin connector on them.
The saddlebags can easily be removed.
I wired the bag lights to a hoppy converter I have for a trailer.
They are run/brake/turn. I removed the stock turn signals.
Here's a link to the lights.

I'm retired and it is snowing out.
I probably spend more time on line than you do.

This is on a 1500 Classic with Leatherlykes but something similar could be done with a Nomad. I looked around until I found a set of lights that closely matched the OEM taillight and then made a custom piece out of hard rubber to mount the lights to the bag and have the same lens angle as the OEM's. Looks and works good.
