Metzeler 888 on Vaquero
Thinking about getting rid of the stock stones and going with the new 888's. Front tire is stock size of 130/90 16 but the closest rear tire size is 180/65 16 and the stock size is 170/70 16. Is there that much of a difference? Anyone tried these yet?

Yes I did it with the mich comm II same size rear tire after 200 miles developed a wobble up front on decel, Had to have a privet shop change the stearing head bearings to all balls tappered ones and wobble stoped. Kaw would not warranty them because not stock size tire on backsaid I changed rake angle and it was normal ware and tear on bearings at 6400 miles.

I bought the Mich Cammander II
I bought that Michelin Commander II 180/65-16. The difference in tire height is about 2 mm, which is a bit over 1/16th of an inch shorter than stock. I'd say they are pretty close. No wobble on my bike and no rubbing with the wider rear tire. I did the front and rear tire at the same time, both Michelin Commander II.

I agree Chris! I'd be in small claims court tomorrow with how MaKaw treats people..
