fairing bag for the vaquero
My question had anyone put a fairing bag on. I am 5'5`` do you think this would affect being able to see OK?
If you did what were the bag brands you put on the fairing? Just looking for some type of bag I could store a few items in. Or maybe a magnetic tank bag, your in put is needed. Thanks Login or Register to Remove Ads |

I don't have a Vaquero but when I first got my Nomad I took a "fanny pak" or other wise known as a "man purse" and fastened it to my windscreen It held my sunglasses, wallet, etc.

The pouch is Kuryakyn Three-Pouch Fairing Bag 4178...link below from Amazon. I found a new one on ebay for a few bucks less, think it was $47 shipped.
http://www.amazon.com/Kuryakyn-Three.../dp/B004J00GII I used 5 pieces of automotive molding tape originally, but it didn't stick well enough to the felt on the back of the pouch that is there to protect the shield. It doesn't have to actually fully support the weight of the pouch, because the dash does. It just has to hold it to the shield... Anyway, velcro will stick to the felt, so I just did this last night. I expect this to hold just fine, and can actually remove it for cleaning or whatever As far as seeing over it, no problem for me at all, but I am 6'

Another option is a tank bib with a pouch. This is Sagebrush Designs.

I wanted the darker tint, had to call them as it wasn't listed as an option. As I said before, I am 6'. cruising down the road I don't feel wind in my face, unless I sit up real straight and crane my neck. I can be a sloucher, but I still look over the shield and would say most of the time the wind just hits the very top of my helmet.

Post 24 of the below thread has a picture from the front. I had them do the blackout / dark tint to the bottom, and the pouch in place actually makes it looked blacked out about twice as high http://www.vulcanbagger.com/forums/s...t=25146&page=2

I copied Bob. Installed today. I need to adjust to center it completely. But it functions and holds well.
