More than a project if you have to change cables, and don't forget brake lines and clutch lines, now the handlebar cost has been added to by the hundreds of dollars, and a lot of work as well.

Ok, at this time I do not have a quality chromer.
They have full radius, completely functional!
Stock cables fit fine, may need to loosen the cables just a bit.
They are 1 1/4" for the Vaquero. Can be custom made for your pull back and width.
We build these in house, each one is made specific to your wants and needs.
Did I cover all the questions?

Some questions: (I'm sure I'm not the only one. Which is why I'm asking here instead of PMing you)
$?
Are they functional (full turn radius)?
Do you have to extend anything (cables, hoses, wires)?
Are they 1 1/4" at the risers?
Width?
Available pull back?

Sorry for the onslaught of questions, but I am interested.
Thanks!

Not bad at all good sir! I'll PM you this week and talk custom stuff.

Since you are doing the fabrication on these bars, I might also pick your brain on making some drag bars.

Thanks for all the info!

You might want to check out Dmyers Bars before you purchase those. He did a great job on mine. Your throttle cables will work, but you will have to extend the electrical wires 72 solder joints. you also will need extended Brake and clutch lines. The dealer where I live wanted to charge me 7 hours labor for the electrical. So, I did them myself with the suggestions of others n this forum. It is not an easy task and it is not for the faint at heart. Make sure you have shrink wrap, solder, solder gun, tape, string, and other required material before you start.

I am not saying this to discourage you, but to make you aware that it's not an easy task.

Please see pictures of Dmyer's Bars on my bike.

I did not have to lengthen any cables. Here are some pics of my bars on a Vaquero and a Stratoliner. Stock controls and cables.

I can build pretty much any bar you can dream up.
Those are some nice bars retro5 makes though.

The bars look great.

As far as lengthening the cables, it looks like the difference is in the cable routing - whether you choose to follow the bars closely or shoot straight across from the switches to meet the bar.

That being said, I'm curious if you have any side shots to get a perspective of the pull back on those and what the pull back measures on them for reference.

Thanks!

+1, I would like to know this as well. I raised my stock bars which is ok for now but I have to watch how I turn in tight spaces, would love to have some real apes but not have to extend the cables.

I'm not sure if you are asking about my bars or retr05's bars
as for mine. I have a bar jig that I can send to you, You mount the bars on your bike and you can move the up-rights and bar tops to position them the best way for yourself. It is really the only way you can get everything positioned correctly because depending on how far you lay the bars back toward you you have to spin the bar tops to compensate. I also have several lengths up up-rights that will make the bars taller or have more pull back depending on how you position them. after you figure out what suits you best you can mark the joints and send them back to me and I will build them to match. I made a set like this for Jay Stevens. The bars I made for Rsweet49 are copies of Jay's bars. PM me if you are interested.
