I Love The Fall Season

I don't even wanna say how many King Salmon my buddy and I hooked last Friday and Saturday before the record rains hit here.....(okay....like 32)...but it was fishing of epic proportions.... One of the best two day totals on Chinook I've ever had. It was like taking candy from a baby and most of it was done with one guy rowing and one guy fishing. Damn I love Fall....!!

This particular river has very strict limits....like you can only retain one Coho. All Chinook must be released...which is perfect as it keeps all the other anglers off the river while leaving it to myself. The adjacent rivers are over-crowded with people and boats. I hate crowd fishing and much prefer the solitude, great results and just taking a few photos....!

Congrats Kris! On certain days in the Spring, one can fish at an East Texas lake and catch crappy the same way. I'm sure chinook put up a bigger fight tho.

You can say that again. These are the toughest fighting fish ever. 20-30 minute battles are common and hour long battles are not uncommon on trophy sized Chinook.

Those smiles are priceless! Your passion really comes through. Down here we have big river catfish that put up nice fights like that. I could bass and crappy fish all day. Love it... I love anything outdoors.
