Will it hurt?

Does it harm a motor to go from synthetic oil back to dino? I started synthetic at about 30K and now have 63K. I always change the oil at 3K. Going longer, even if the manufacturer says it's safe makes me crazy. I've put a lot of miles on a lot of bikes with dino.
Thanks for your time

No. Ignore anyone that say otherwise. Same goes for switching brands

Thanks folks. Any recommendations on dino oil? I don't remember what I was using. I ran Penzoil in HD's for years but the tranny was a seperate unit.
Thanks for your time

Just make sure it doesn't have any friction inhibitors in it which most auto engine oil does now.

I like Rotella. Its a diesel oil so it has more detergents to keep the inside clean. ITs relatively cheap and available in dino or syn-blend.

i use volvoline standard 10w-40 motorcycle oil....when i purchased my nomad used 4 years ago, went looking and since amzoil say they are the best....and they compare themselves to all synthetic oils and only one standard oil (volvoline) i figured if it was good enough for them to have to compare to....good enough to use....
