Walmart sucks! You don't even save money there anyways and there is no customer service on automotive pieces. Huge runaround when defective. Can't return it to the store. Plus deal with all the tards while you're there doin business. BAD business.:crazy :

Most towns have a Interstate Batteries dealership. Got mine from them 4 years ago and going strong.

I just go to a local bike shop when I need one. I know that I'm getting the right battery for the bike.

I went here on line and liked it

https://www.batterymart.com
I bought a glass gell battery very similar to OEM this part number and its 89 bucks today..

YTX20CH-BS AGM Maintenance Free Battery

Add talk may say if will come dry but it doesn't it comes ready to go but it is wise to charge it real slow 10 hours or so at 1/2 amp to 1.25 amps.

Thanks Mac I will look into that battery. Got to make sure it will fit in my 1500. The only thing I have that will charge at that low a voltage is my battery tender and it will kick off if it thinks the battery is charged. 2amps is as low as my charger will go.

Just a note here. I always use my American Express Optima Card to purchase items.

Why

Because most folks are unaware that it Doubles The Manufactures Warranty up to 5 years and yes it has saved me $$$$.

I thought the tender was rated at 1.75 amps not 2. I use the shumaker chgers rated at 1.25 amps and it is auto float (turns on and off as needed, and anti-sulfation pulse, which is a way to clean the plates. My battery has been on that all winter. I just have to tape the switch on the wall in the hose ON. That number may fit the 1500's but I don't know that. I do know for a fact it fits the 16's. I would go there run that number and see if it says it's good to go. The strangest thing was when my new battery came is was wet and ready to go full charged so far as i could tell but there was an empty box for the acid pack in the shipping box too. I found that upsetting and called them. I was assured things would be good and they were.

Sales people get very honest after i send them photos of me in war paint, a selection of pointy things like dirks, pikes halberds spears tomahawks, my bow drill for fire, and mention that if something goes wrong and i an further upset there is a nice pole in the door yard where I may caress them.

Interstate is what I use-great batteries and my son's auto shop (NWA Auto) is a distributor for them.
