"1920's engineering"? Srsly? That's like saying a new Cadillac is "old school" just because it still has a piston driven motor.

I wish that were true Greg, I really like the exclusivity of riding a bike that I don't see 1000 clones of everyday.

I know what you mean and most are black too. So much for individuality.

Hey Mick i can see a what you're getting at with the expense side of it, but not too many white boy's going for the black women over here mate, not yet anyway, most of them are fresh off the boat still chanting witchcraft with bone's through their nose's, give it a few year's when they are out numbered and got no choice maybe.

Same here. Lots of black HDs, which makes no sense in Hell. That and I don't care for black bikes. It's an army of identical individualists.

I reckon the Nomad's have got style all over the Road king, the curve of the tank, the shape of the pannier's (bag's to you yank's)and the lack of a f--king great gearbox sticking odly out on one side being the most obvious, and with a few bit's of practical bling thrown at it, i reckon it's the prettiest bike out there I stopped at the local Harley dealer last summer and the salesman came over all smug, while i was looking at a bike with ugly square pannier's, is'nt that the prettiest bike you ever saw he said, no i replied, that's sitting over there and i would'nt swap it for anything that you got in here

..Agreed on the prettiest looking bike...the Nomad !

As for the memories of boot camp....yep..I lived all of that, and it was very similar ! (the final scene is what you had to do...up and down the street in front of everyone.if you ever made the error of calling your weapon a "GUN"... This Is MY Rifle..This Is My Gun..This Is For Fighting..This Is For Fun ! (including the appropriate display)....
