Well said sir! There aren't many of these old warriors left so if you see one, give him or her a firm handshake and hearty thanks for their service!

President Franklin D. Roosevelt: Yesterday, December 7, 1941—a date which will live in infamy—the United States of America was suddenly and deliberately attacked by naval and air forces of the Empire of Japan.

You know, yesterday I briefly thought this was 73 years ago and maybe its time to let it go. Then I thought No. Almost 3000 of our military men were murdered on that day and besides, "those who forget their history are doomed to repeat it".

Yesterday morning I checked ABC, CBS, NBC, MSNBC and even the Drudge Report and not one of these online "news" organiztions had anything about Pearl Harbor. Not one. It's just sad.

..Late in the day Dec 7th...I also checked the media for any mention of, or ceremony honoring our Pearl Harbor Vets...and finally realized if anything was to be mentioned ..I better do it !

Those boys & girls, are certainly fading away...My Uncle was in the middle of the Battle Of the Bulge..and survived to slog his way to VE day in Germany He is 95, and still drives his truck to the coffee shop every day to hang out with his friend's...and a couple times a month he goes to the shooting range..where he can still out shoot, just about everyone ! Salute.. to my "Uncle Sandy", Donald Hooper..of Alliance Nebraska !, and all the rest of his generation of Veteran's

They got what was coming to them. The interesting thing is that the attack on Pearl Harbor isn't taught over there. I remember when the movie Pearl Harbor came out, Younger Japanese that went to see it were horrified and were afraid after seeing it. I find it interesting that Germans will never be allowed to forget, yet the Japanese pretty much have. Just saying.

I bet they would too. Unfortunately for the Chicoms, they have the worst record than any other country in killing their citizenry, with Soviet Russia right behind them.

No kidding! The Black Book of Communism should be mandatory reading for all, especially our current politicians.

The Japanese were ruthless soldiers without a doubt. What they did at Nanking was an atrocity. But the Germans took almost 8 million civilians, men women and children, imprisoned them and systematically executed them. Not to mention prisoners of war from several countries which were not even counted in those numbers. I hope to God as mankind moves forward, none of us are allowed to forget.

And the soviets and chicoms killed 10x that and without any accountability at all.
