I've been hit by birds (several times), hit a dog going about 110 mph (back in my young & dumb days), cut the dog in two, got covered with blood & guts, but didn't go down, but the most pain I've had being hit by something is I rode into a swarm of bees (it looked like smoke crossing the road ahead of me). I got thru it and almost dumped the bike getting it stopped, jumped off the bike and was stripping all my cloths off on the side of the road to get the bees out, I only got stung 37 times, sure am glad I'm not allergic to bee stings.

I hit a big black bird at about 60 mph near Punkin Center AZ with my Nomad. Very little blood, but I got a face full of goo and was picking feathers out of my bike for weeks.

I was horse back riding with a group years ago and got thrown onto a wasp nest . Stung all over , never counted though . Hurt like hell
Week after that got chased by a huge bull moose . Glad my horse was faster !

I took a meadow lark (black bird size) dead in the chest at about 60 mph. I still wasn't breathing by the time I got pulled over to the side of the road.

A friend of mine heading back to camp (Sturgis Rally) hit a 4 point buck (killed it) the other night and he survived with no injuries and his bike is still ride-able. Broke the plastic headlight housing (Yamaha Road Star 1700) and bent his lowers. Real lucky. The responding cops congratulated him on his good luck.

So many bird stories , I'm beginning to think that birds are more suicidal than deer.

I'm really glad we don't have them here . Crows just move over to the side of the road and walk back when you pass .

A barn swallow hit me above the belly button once and it fell dead in my lap. I tossed it off and kept riding.

The best for last !! I went to the lake a couple of years ago and when I got back I jumped on my bike and fired it up , then felt something hit my foot. It was a 2ft garter snake. Friendly fellow . Must have got into my air cleaner. At that time I had the factory set up . So far no snakes . It was a 3hr ride with my stow away. I'm glad it didn't crawl up my leg while I was riding.
