Risers for a vaquero
looking for risers for my 2011 vaquero. Seems that all of the aftermarket sites do not make a 2" riser with a 1" pull back that fits 2 1/4" bars.
If anyone knows of a good site to point me in the right direction would really appreciate the help. love the bike just would like to adjust the bars a bit more for comfort without having to replace bars and wires..thank you Login or Register to Remove Ads |

Scootworks reputation isn't the best, but their risers aren't bad.
I lifted my OEM risers on the Voyager with spacers made by Chuckster's Customs. Not a big enough lift to have replace any wires or hoses, but enough to put me in exactly the right position. Joe can also supply risers for your Vaq, and he's a well trusted member of the forum.

Be sure to read up or ask questions on Vaquero/Voyager risers...you will cram your bars into your fairing and damage the paint at full lock...you have to limit travel by extending the steering bumpstops. Some guys use small hose clamps, others thread in a bolt.
Chuckster makes great risers, had them on my Nomad.

If you use a different pull back does that allow to be able to sit handlebars up in a ape hanger type style?

The switches and levers would be at an odd angle, and also possible contact with the inner fairing at full lock position, not sure if they (original bars and switches) could be rotated or modified. Cheers.

If you will look at the thread "handlebar risers" about 15 threads or so down from this thread, you will see several links and pictures I shared in that post. Rather than repeat, I will just point you there.
