I have the JVC head unit with a wireless controller. The controller is mounted on bracket that I made out of alumunium. The controller is mounted using velcro. The bracket is mounted under my left side handlebar switch (for easy access). The speakers are Polk 6 1/2" waterproof. I used a radio cover to protect the radio during rain. I mounted a 100W amp inside the fairing under the radio. I use an external antenna setup on my tourpak. There are several choices, depending on how much money you are willing to spend. Keep us posted.

looks like a reckless fairing great score on the price you paid. I'd recommend you stick with polk marine speakers everyone seems to love em. I used a marine cover off ebay that seems to support my kenwood bluetooth unit well and has plenty of power. i also went with the kenwood because it had large buttons and a big volume wheel, that will make using it with gloves easier. bluetooth is always a nice option. As you can see in my sig i have a similar fairing with the polk 6x9s.

Fairing Shipped today! It will be here in a week. Now I need to figure out what I am going to do as far as paint. I am thinking of a Matte Gray. Has anyone done a rattle can paint job on here? I was thinking just some cheep rustoleum enamel. What are your thoughts?

So I got the fairing and the speakers and the radio and the cover....

Went to test fit everything...

Nothing fits :-(

The speaker holes are for 5" speakers... I though when it said 5" speakers it ment 5.25"... So I am going to have to do some trimming...

The radio barley fits in the whole...and my Jensen marine radio cover is way too big... I need to find a good template to mark it up and cut it out of the fairing...

I also am going to reinforce the fairing points where I bolt it to the brackets. It looks like the fiberglass in the fairing is chopped and sprayed. I am going to get some of the rolls and resin it in there.

I will have to trim around the tabs for my speakers but I think I can get them all in there! I will post pics tomorrow!!!

I had to cut out my fairing for the cover to fit. The hole in the fairing was kinda right for the head unit, but not really. And I had to cut out for my speakers, the original openings were too small for the first set of speakers and way too small for the Rockford Fosgates I have now.

If you need another cover, I think I may have one...somewhere.
