Lighting idea
Has anyone changed the stripes on the bags for led strips? Just thought of it, would look cool.

I thought about doing that a year or so back. Never got around to it. Will definitely make you more visible to cars and look cool too. Take and post some pictures if you do the deed.

My "stripes" are coming off, I am going to reglue, if that doesn't work out then I think 3 or even one light stripe will look killer!

I too considered doing that when one of my strips started coming loose, but I couldn't bring myself to drilling holes in the lids.

On my '05 Nomad I removed the strips because some of them were starting to lift. It looked fine without them but the door color was silver so they were hard to see any way.

I took the 3 trim pieces off of my very carefully and have them for sell if anyone needs.

Never was a fan of leds on a bike. Makes me think of a "taco wagon" with shag carpet and dingle balls in the windshield..

Naw, it's not a true 2 wheel replica of a taco wagon unless they put hydraulic low rider suspension on the the bike. Now that could be fun to watch at a stop light.
