Front axle tool

I've seen the motion pro ones, or just getting a 22mm hex head socket. If you can find the socket and it's not in a $40 set.

Found this one on ebay. They actually dropped the price 5ยข since I bought mine. Shipped from El Paso, so I got it in 3 days with free shipping.

Ebay axle tool

A 13/16 spark plug socket turned backward worked for me.

Mine fit, but I had to buy some nuts and bolts that didn't fit perfectly in the socket to get it tightened. Even then, torque was not right.

I'm going to need another tire eventually, and 5 bucks is a good investment for having the right tool.

While I'd love to buy a welder, it was a lot easier to get 5 bucks past my wife.

I just removed the rubber spark plug holder inside and inserted the extension.

Axle tool

I also just used a reversed 13/16 sparkplug socket. Worked great and was zero cost. No extra tools to buy

Every one I have is round on the inside. That was my original plan.

What's nice now is one tool will work for both the Vaquero and the C90.

Of course, I still have to wait till the front tire needs replaced again just to see if I can find the tool again.
