At least we don't have speed bumps and speed cameras every quarter mile in Ontario. You have 33 millions cars in the U.K which was designed for horse and buggies at best. We have 33 million people in the whole of Canada ! You have 60 million people, 30 million of which are living on welfare

Here we go then. You are right on every score. But i live in the country, where there are no speed humps.I can go up & down the gearbox constantly, while overtaking cars and having a crack through the bends.Even riding a cruiser here is a buzz that keeps a bloke alive.Sitting on an empty road, with nothing to think about other than how many mpg the bike is doing,is not my idea of biking.I reckon there is a greater percentage of Americans who would love to ride our roads, rather than the other way around. But hey, each to their own mate. And those welfare assholes are mostly divvy northeners with shit loads of kids,or refugees escaping cities that American has bombed the crap out of.

Mick I think you have a slightly mis guided view of the roads over here. In most areas, We have straight highways with few curves for getting places in a hurry and plenty of back roads and secondary highways that by pass the big slab highways with lots of twisties for taking a days ride. I live in the mountains so there is few flat roads and no straight roads.

I would have to agree mate.I never rode in your country, but i would love to. I suppose you are going to ruin my imagined picture of life over there,by telling me that Erick Asstrada, from the tv series Chips, was'nt a real cop either.

Do a Google search for "Iron Mountain Road" in the Black Hills Mick. 99.9% of the roads in this state (South Dakota) are straight as an arrow and 330 miles long but there are a few that are pretty good.
