Octane boost good idea or bad?

I'm thinking about using some octane boost when I'm pulling a trailer to try and reduce the knock. Is this a bad idea? They sell a 2 oz for motorcycles so i won't have to carry an open bottle in the bags just pour the bottle in and through it away.

if youre carrying a heavier load than normal it wont hurt....it might effect your cold start and drivability...higher octain fuel doesn't atomize as well at cooler temps and without sufficient compression ratios can effect cold drivability...its not a deal breaker....just information its nice to know if you run into any cold problems using it....

buy an ejk from dobeck
I had the same problem out in the deserts 102 degrees.
our octain regular is 91
premium is 95 or 100
tried both but no difference to pinging.
actually made it worst.
EJK fixed that once and for all.
normal setting for solo riding 1.5 in green cruise mode
bump it up a notch 2.5 in green mode
extra fuel for towing and heavy loads..
