He's "retired" Mick and got lots of time on his hands (just like me) but I don't like the look of white walls. Wesleys works good on white raised letters also.

Long past your bed time nipper. Whistle this tune as you go down the hallway looking for your bedroom.

And come to think of it,what are you doing with a nail brush anyway.
12" scrub brush? Pretty wide whitewalls, Mic. Nail brush is for cleaning nails. I guess you wear latex gloves when you work on your bike?

I wouldn't say the summer of 69' was "good" exactly. I just started my career with Uncle Sam's Canoe Club in Feb 69'.

I recently installed a set of the shinko 230 tourmasters on my 02 nomad, have put aprox 2000miles on them with no handling complaints. I also noticed better handling on wet asphalt than the metzler I removed.

I have a Tour Master on the front and it is wearing well (over 10K miles) and still has a couple of K left in it. The rear Tour Master was gone at about 6700 miles. I installed a 777 HD on the back three weeks ago and just came back from a 3500 mile trip. The tire shows some minor sign of wear but looks like I should get some good mileage out of it. The ride included some very nice two lane roads and I hit them hard. It always felt "good". No rain on the trip so no wet road comments.

Good to see you are back safe and sound Duffy. Good riding with you again, as always.

That's encouraging seeing as I just mounted to 777HDs on my 1700 Nomad. The OEM Bridgestones only had 3800 miles on them. The front had some life left but the rear was about gone and I leave for Sturgis tomorrow. so I replaced them both.

The best tire mileage I have ever gotten was out of the OEM Bridgestones on the Vulcan. Almost 15K miles both front and rear. Nothing else has come close.

Did you coast down hill for 15K miles? LOL I don't know how that is even possible, unless it was a different set of Bridgestones than what they are using now.

Don't know if it's all the grooved concrete I ride on here or what, but it seems to wear out a rear tire pretty fast. Too soon to say how the 777's will hold up, but I did get caught in the rain twice last week. First time on this bike in the rain, so I was a little apprehensive. Handled fine.
