Well if that's your passion, you should plan a trip here to Southern Alberta! A lot of great movies, Westerns in particular, filmed in and around where I live. Some include:

Open Range (Kevin Costner & Robert Duval)
Legends of the Fall (Brad Pitt)
Brokeback Mountain
Little Big Man (Dustin Hoffman)
The Revenant (Leonardo Di Caprio)
and many many more.

Plus there has been a number of recent TV series filmed here including Fargo and Hell on Wheels.
