Nomad/Voyager Saddlebags

Anyone know if 1700 Nomad or Voyager saddlebags can be installed on a Nomad 1600 with or without modification? If a mod is required what is involved in making the switch? Thanks in advance for any info.

You might have more luck installing Vaquero bags on a 1600 Nomad.
I presume your bags are damaged ?

I'm actually looking for the hard bags that open from the top rather than the side. I'm contemplating a type of trike project and side opening bags won't work.

Used bags from a 1700 Nomad or Vaquero probably wont be cheap.

Harley bags are flat on the back, like a 1600 Nomad. 1700 Nomad and Voyager bags are not flat on the back.
