Are 1600/1700 Nomad windscreens the same?

Are the 1600 and 1700 Nomad windscreens the same? The part numbers are almost identical but not quite. I'm only wondering if the 1600/1700 windscreens are the same because I'm considering a Clearview windscreen and could just order one for the 1600 and call it good (since they don't seem to have an order/options page for the 1700).


Here's the breakdown of the main windscreen part numbers I've found:


1999-2004 (1500)=39154-1141
2005-2008 (1600)=39154-0012
2009-2012 (1700)=39154-0044
2013/2014 (1700)=39154-0326


So, all 1500s (FI and carb) had an identical windscreen part number, all 1600s had an identical part number but the part number changed 2/3 of the way through the 1700s.


I'm pretty sure the Nomad forks got wider w/the 1600s (compared to the 1500s) but I don't know if the 1700s were the same width.


I know. I'm probably overthinking this but it might be helpful for someone besides me if they have a 1700, want a different windscreen or fairing and can only find something showing compatible w/a 1600.


I'd also like to know what may (or may not) have changed between 2012 and 2013.
