Question exhaust flange cap nits

Does anyone know the size of the chrome acorn flange nuts on a 1700 exhaust flange on a vaquero. Dealer wants $6.00 a nut. Thanks in advance. Parts list doesn't show size.

Likely 8mm diameter but you would have to find out the pitch.

I think for an 8mm bolt its 1.25 mm for a regular thread and 1.00 mm for fine thread. My guess is that 1.25mm is what you need.

Thanks for the reply Redjay. Wanted to get them prior to removal as I won't be doing them until snow leaves. Dealer says he doesn't know the size as they haven't replaced any.

It's 8mm but doesn't give the pitch. My guess is 1.25mm too. It's not a fine thread from what I remember.

Most part stores have a studded board by there screw/nut section. Try the nut on it for size/pitch.
