What horn did you put on your bike.
I need to change out the beep beep horn on my 2012 Voyager. I would like a much louder horn. Any suggestions? Where did you mount it, did you had a relay? Could you send me a picture of where you installed it at please?
Send responses and pictures to my email please. Thanks for your assistance. jm24poker@aol.com Login or Register to Remove Ads |

I found a used set of dual tone car horns from an auto wrecker for 10 bucks, and mounted one each side top of the leg shields clamped to the bars. Wired them through a relay.
L O U D !!! Find a car that you like the sound of the horn... Find a used set.

I bought this one and also placed where the original horn was mounted. No modification of factory wiring, I was able to plug the leads directly into the factory horn wiring harness.

Yes, I did use a relay and pulled the power straight from the battery.

Air Horn
Quote:
I used the Stebel Air Horn & Wolo Air Horn Wiring Kit (MCHWK-2). Then Mounted it under my fairing. There is a pretty good installation video on YouTube by Greg Rager . https://www.amazon.com/Stebel-116900...t=VEHICLE_HORN https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I have a Stebel Nautilus compact air horn. It came with the wiring kit including relay. Wired to a fuse block I have under the right side cover for accessories. Uses regular horn switch with a relay. Mounted the horn itself to the right crash bar inside the hard lower.

I have 2 Wolo horns that make a total of 3 dissonant tones, one on each side of the bike. I made my own wiring harness with relays to trigger both at the same time. The OEM horn circuit triggers both relays, but the Wolos each have their own fuse and battery connection. I still have the OEM Road Runner (meep-meep) horn in the mix, but it's pretty useless other than to complete the trigger circuit.

Screaming Banshee ( WOLO in disguise?)
Horn part where OEM was with a fabbed bracket-facing backwards. Air cannister inside front cowling-another fabbed bracket. Works a treat. Pete.
