Hit Snow Today!

I went for a ride earlier today with my brother and Chawnyboy to a town about 60 miles NE of me, It was in the mid 40's when we left but sunny, after a short while it became quite windy and the temps dropped a bit. By the time we arrived it was damm cold and started to snow a bit. We had a quick lunch, warmed up and headed for home, it was nice to feel the temp rise as we got closer to home, but it was still very windy, the bikes were leaning a bit and getting blown around trying to stay on the road in some places. Its was still a nice ride overall, considering my other choice of working around the house.

At least you didn't have to clean BUGS off the bike like I did on two bikes

Mine was covered with bugs from our trip back home from Manchac last night. Cleaned them off this morning. I would have preferred a little light snow instead. Sorry Ring.

So did I:

at 12,000 ft on my first trip of the season over Trail Ridge Rd this morning. Temp was about 40F.

You sure did find snow, a lot more than I seen today. Its 34 here right now and we just planted all the flowers in the backyard on Thurs, I bet Im planting again this coming Thurs.

Actually, it's always been a struggle to get that road open by the end of May. Last few years its been opening earlier than usual, yup could be GW LW.

It was 93 today in north Texas. And to think I spent the afternoon in the pool with the grandkids.
I'm not complaining at all.
